Take Up Space:
Building Presence and Confidence in High-Stakes Moments
Details
The Boston Women in Bioinformatics is excited to reunite with Joanna Ghayad, executive career coach to STEM scientists, on Take Up Space | Building Presence and Confidence in High-Stakes Moments.
You’ve been in this situation before.
You already have the expertise. But in the moments that matter most—a tough Q&A, a room full of senior stakeholders, a conversation where everything is on the line—it’s easy to hesitate, over-qualify, or edit yourself out before you even begin.
This session is about changing that.
In this workshop, you’ll:
Identify the self-editing habits that hold you back in high-pressure situations
Practice presence and confidence techniques you can use immediately
Learn the habits that develop between you and your stakeholders before the conversation even begins
For early career and seasoned scientists alike who want to develop the confidence to tackle high-stakes scenarios.
